Managing multi-user computers becomes easy with Faronics Cloud

Hear what our customers have to say.

Always-clean public PCs

Every reboot restores each computer to a known-good state. No lingering files, no broken settings, no malware left behind. Staff never need to reimage machines between users. Students get a consistent experience every time, and IT teams eliminate the daily cycle of fixing what the last user changed.

Fewer support tickets

Misconfigurations, crashes, and 'it’s broken' calls disappear when problems vanish on restart. Library staff can simply reboot a PC instead of logging a ticket. IT teams spend less time firefighting and more time on planned work, even across dozens of campuses.

FAQ

How does Faronics Cloud work?

What is Faronics Cloud in plain English?

A single, cloud-based console to manage and secure your endpoints. Install a small agent and you can patch apps, lock down settings, remote in, restore machines to a clean state and automate the boring jobs.

Which devices can I manage?

Windows PCs and laptops are fully supported. You can also add macOS, plus MDM for iOS, Android and Chromebook if you need mobile control.

How does Deep Freeze keep machines clean?

Deep Freeze makes a device 'reset to known good' on every reboot. Any changes, malware or misconfigs are removed. You can keep selected folders or drives persistent so user data stays put.

Can I keep some files and apps unchanged?

Yes. Use ThawSpaces or specify folders and registry keys to stay unfrozen. You can also schedule maintenance windows to apply updates before refreezing.

How are patches and third-party apps handled?

Pick from a catalogue of common apps, set policies and let updates roll out automatically. Specify a maintenance window, overnight if you prefer, to deliver Windows updates. You can schedule installs and report on compliance.

What happens when devices are offsite or offline?

Policies queue and apply when the device next checks in. You can see last-seen status and target jobs to dynamic groups so remote users are covered.

Is remote access included?

Remote Connect lets technicians securely view or control a device from the console, launch file transfers and run quick diagnostics.

How long does it take to get started?

There’s no server to build. Create your tenant, deploy the agent via your usual tools or a download link, and devices start appearing in the console within minutes.

How is it licensed?

Per-device subscription. Add the modules you need now and scale up later. Trials are available so you can test on a pilot group before rollout.

What about security and data privacy?

The platform uses encrypted communications and role-based access. You control who can do what, audit activity and restrict actions by site or group. Data is handled in line with standard enterprise security practices.

Can I schedule reboots and maintenance?

Yes. Set recurring windows for patching, app installs, reboots and Deep Freeze updates so changes happen when users aren’t disrupted.
